Internship – Dairy Production

Job description

Main responsibilities:

This internship focuses on dairy processing using ewe’s, buffalo, or cow’s milk to produce a variety of dairy products: lactic cheeses, stretched-curd cheeses, soft cheeses, blue cheeses, yogurts, fresh dairy products, and more.

A unique opportunity to experience artisanal cheesemaking in the heart of the city, while supporting the local economy and short supply chains.

Other responsibilities:

  • Aging and storage of the various products
  • Preparing the sales area and welcoming customers
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the premises and equipment

Internship periods:

All year round, from September to July.

If the internship duration requires it, a allowance will be provided in accordance with current legislation.

Ideal candidate profile

  • ENIL, CFPPA, CFA, Agronomy Schools (Purpan, AgroParisTech, ENSAT, …)

  • Knowledge in one of the following fields: cheesemaking, agronomy, catering, …

  • Strong interest in the world of cheese

  • Creativity, initiative, energy, and enthusiasm

  • Organisation, rigour, and autonomy

Application process

  • Working hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week, from Wednesday to Sunday morning – actual hours may vary depending on workload.
